This purchase is a little bit tricky. It’s called the Razor E325 electric scooter so the obvious assumption anyone would make is that it’s better than the E300 and the E300S. I mean the latest model HAS to be better… right?
We’re here to warn you why upgrading to the Razor E325 electric scooter may not be the best idea. The truth is, the E325 is exactly the same as the E300, so don’t be fooled by the name. It’s just that some distributors give it a different name. But because we want to cover all our bases, here’s the review:
This scooter goes an average speed of 15 miles per hour and is powered by a chain driven motor. The motor is a 300w and runs fairly quiet.(but not any quieter than other razor scooters) The target age group is 12 and up and can hold up to 220 lbs. If any of this sounds familiar, that’s everything the E300 and the E300s do. Actually, the E300s has a foam padded seat and it still cost less than the E325.
The battery lets you go around 45 minutes before recharging and takes twelve hours to charge. That’s not great, but it’s normal. The tires are the same exact extra wide 10 inch pneumatic tires. They will require maintenance but so will any inflatable tire. It’s brakes are located in the rear and are operated by the front handlebar hand brake. Some of the smaller razor models have polyurethane wheels which are entirely puncture proof. They also require no maintenance like pneumatic tires do. If that’s something you’re interested in look into the e100, or the e200, however those are targeted closer for kids and go slower.
The con of polyurethane tires is the lower max speeds the scooter gets because it can’t compete with pneumatic tires in that department. If speed outweighs maintenance in you’re opinion the pneumatic is definitely the right choice. Just make sure to frequently check the air pressure and obviously avoid any and all sharp objects. When you get a flat, replace that tire ASAP or your wheel will be next in line to break.
Like most other scooters, the e325 can hold the weight of most adults or up to 220 pounds. This scooter geared more towards adults or stronger teenagers because moving it while it’s powered off is going to be really tough for a child. This hefty scooter weighs in at 55 pounds. The throttle is a standard twist throttle unlike certain scooters which have the safer push button throttle.
The deck is extra wide for good leg space and plenty of room to avoid slips and falls. The handlebar height is not adjustable which can be tedious and annoying to taller people.
One of the biggest flaws in the E325 is the lies posted in its description. It’s supposed to have variable throttle control. Which means depending on how far you twist the throttle is how fast the scooter accelerates. IT DOES NOT HAVE THAT. Update – The E325 is not advertised as variable throttle, it is a single speed throttle (exactly the same as the e300)

The Razor E325 is just a renamed version of the E300, it’s the same scooter from the same brand we know and love. So, don’t be confused by anyone saying the E325 is an upgrade to the E300.
Like always, we recommend you go to amazon, review several options from several buyers and decide which one is the best one, we recommend this model from this buyer:
(it comes in other colors as well)
They have great customer service and the E300 is the best model all around.

Featuring 12” pneumatic tires and top speeds of 15 miles per hour and a run time of 40 minutes. When we tried the product out, we actually squeezed 50 minutes out of it. We gave it a constant ride and reached 11.2 miles of distance covered. The Razor pocket mod electric scooter is one of the greatest scooters out there. The scooter’s motor doesn’t make much sound and you can get constant riding of 10 miles of distance covered in usage.
Kid’s tend to be inconsiderate of things and people around them, and the loud noise that a motor of a gas powered scooter would create would also make your neighbors hate you if your kid decided to use it at an inconvenient time. While riding it, we found it to be very smooth and works great on any road that we’ve traveled on. Aside from also being quieter, this scooter is much better for the environment. The charge time is 12 hours, which is average in comparison to other kids moped. We didn’t like the long wait time to charge the scooter, but we’ve found a trick. Just charge it once you’re done using it or right before you go to sleep. That way you don’t really have to wait the twelve hours.

Want to know another great thing about the Razor Pocket mod electric scooter? It comes in multiple colors! They aren’t boring plain and flat colors either. When you buy the Razor pocket mod miniature euro electric scooter, you have four different options to choose from. It’s perfect for if you have a girl who wants one in pink or a boy with macho colors like red and black.
There are a handful of aesthetic differences between the colors, and their quirky names for each scooter.
Ol’ betty is a gorgeous light purple, with floral designs on the front and on the back. Comes in white foam padded seat, along with the word “Betty” written across the back side, under the foam padded seat. This one is the go to scooter for the little girls.
Sweet Pea is most likely the go to color for the girl in your family. This color option gives you a full body hot pink scooter with a lighter pink around the seat area. It has a white foam padded seat and also has “Sweet Pea” written right under the seat. What sticks this one out more than Betty are the frills on the handle bars for added design. This is the only option out of the Razor Pocket Mod electric scooter multiple colors that has this.

Vapor is the color you want to get if your kid wants to pretend he has a Harley. It has a solid black finish, black foam padded seats with the words “Vapor” written under the seat area. This is everybody’s top favorite.
Hot Mod is a more fierce version of Vapor in my opinion. It’s a version of the pocket mod that still has the solid black foam padded seats, and black leg rest area. The difference is that the front and back are wrapped in a hot red, with the words “Hot Mod” to make it look really cool.
Overall this one is a great electric scooter for kids. The recommended age group is 12+ because of the speed of the scooter. However it’s not uncommon for parents to get this for a younger child as long as they are responsible and ALWAYS wear protective gear. Please don’t let your children ride this without at the very least a helmet. Younger children should have knee pads and arm protective gear. A great tip I can give to you to help inspire your children to ALWAYS put on their helmet. This is for the safety of your children. We went out and got a Razor full face youth helmet. ( See Here)
This gives off the feel that the scooter they’re riding is a motorcycle or a vespa. The act of putting on a cool looking helmet might inspire your kid to never forget to wear it, and you can rest easy knowing your child will be safe riding his new electric scooter. All in all this is a great scooter for anyone who likes the design. If you weren’t looking for this type of scooter, you can check out our other scooter reviews or leave a comment and let us know!
You’ve probably heard about the E200 and like most razor scooters, there are options to get your electric scooter with a seat. There aren’t any other differences between the E200 and the Razor E200s electric scooter besides the seat. That is the only upgrade that this model provides. The speed, weight capacity and even the frame are made of the same exact material. It’s not very hard to make your decision between the models. If you want a seat obviously go for the Razor electric scooter E200s but if not then stick with the E200.
Something interesting to note is that the Razor E200s electric scooter does not require the seat to be attached to be used. It can be un-assembled and removed at any time using the free tool kit given to you by Razor scooters. The tires are the same on the E200S electric scooter as the E200. Pneumatic 8 inch tires, so you have the benefit of the speed from the tires, but they’re not puncture proof like the polyurethane tires.

The Razor E200S seated electric scooter is the choice for those who want to be able to sit while riding. The E200 series is targeted towards middle school children or younger. Lighter teenagers can still use this without much struggle from the motor as long as they are under the weight capacity of 160 pounds. You still want to take care of this like you would any scooter, make sure you keep up your maintenance. An important maintenance tip is to constantly keep your tires well inflated. This will help you maintain optimum speeds and will prevent the wheel from damage caused by too much force on it. The tire tube can also rip apart from the excess friction as well.
We rate the Razor E200s seated electric scooter a 4.0 out of 5 stars. It’s convenient that it has a seat, however it hasn’t received as many high ratings as the model that doesn’t. It’s up to you if it’s worth the extra cost or not. Some people prefer to stand while using their scooters, the answer is if it’s right for you.
