The front tire is 8 inch pneumatic, and will require maintenance to properly ride at all times.  It boasts a chain driven high torque 12 v motor. It’s designed for ages 7 – 13. The maximum weight capacity is 120 pounds.  It’s very simple to maintain. Just buy a tire pump and and keep the air pressure up. If you don’t the consequence will be a damaged tire, and slower maximum speeds.  It takes roughly 12 hours to fully charge the battery. Make sure you keep your battery at full when not being used. It keeps the cells active and helps prevent cell loss. This will help increase your batteries life span. The back tire is 125mm polyurethane. It’s puncture proof so you won’t have to worry about it going flat. It also requires 0 maintenance. So you won’t need to change anything on it or pump it with air. The throttle on this scooter is a twist throttle, with very nice padded handle bars. This scooter has a kick start ignition. That means you need to reach 3 miles per hour on your own pushing it manually then twist the throttle to accelerate and activate the motor. This is safe for kids because it helps prevent them from recklessly  activating the throttle and crashing into people or things. It also means you can use the electric scooter like a kick scooter when the battery is dead. This isn’t going to go very fast because it still weighs 25 pounds, but itll still move a convenient speed. The scooters adjustable handle bar helps taller kids have a more comfortable ride, and also helps shorter kids solve the same problem. The E125 can run for 40 minutes. That’s roughly 7 miles of distance covered. The 12 hour charge time is average speed for most electric scooters. Even if the light turns green, it still take the 12 hour timeframe for a full charge. Some chargers have found to be inaccurate and it’s important to maintain the battery’s lifespan. This scooter can go a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour. Just like the E100.

One thing to note is the following things the scooter cannot do. It can’t be driven into puddles for obvious reasons. The electrical components would be severely damaged by the water. That’s including the battery you could possibly have to replace.. It’s not a good idea to ride it on gravel because the small rocks could lodge themselves into the scooter or inside the motor. If it gets into the wrong spot it could permanently damage your scooter. You should avoid mud with this scooter. It’s not capable of handling the moisture combined with the slippery wet dirt that could clog up and destroy the internal parts.

If you’re looking for a scooter that can handle that. The Razor RX200 is the best. It can go through all of the above except mud. Mud is simply something that not many vehicles are able to withstand without damage occurring. It’s meant for a slightly older age group. Ages 10- 15. It has a larger weight capacity and it’s specially designed with a tougher and extra durable frame and special tires.

Overall the Razor E125 electric scooter offers a good variety of options for the cheap electric scooter it is. It’s powerful and goes 10 miles per hour, and it has a sleek design that will appeal to boys. We rate it 4.6 out of 5 stars. It’s adjustable and is only slightly more expensive than the Razor E100 models that don’t have the adjustable handle bars. There is a special model of the E100 with adjustable handle bars but the E125 is actually ten dollars cheaper than the E100. Keep that in mind when choosing which model you want to purchase.
