Three Wheel Electric Scooter Age Recommendation
It was made for kids 8 years and older. In the excitement we’ve seen countless of adults and seniors ride it perfectly fine as well.
What Makes Them Different
While many scooters back in the day were two wheeled and had to be manual powered by our foot pushing, we have more options now. Electric trike scooters still have that push kick to start, but boy is the outcome different. Kids can now ride for hours off of one push kick, which is a million times less than what we had to do back then. The other main difference is the lean and steer motion. Instead of just turning the handle left and right, trikes offer the option to lean into the handle bar for more speed.
How Safe Is A Three Wheel Electric Scooter
They’re actually more safe than regular scooters. The reason is when you’re on a scooter, you’re either sitting or balancing on one beam. With a three wheel electric scooter, each foot has it’s own support so it’s like riding a motorcycle without having to balance. Add a helmet and some knee pads for the really cautious parents and you’re pretty much set to never have an injury.
Okay… But How Long Are They Going To Use It For
We’ve never lied to our readers. It honestly depends on the child. The average kid uses these trikkes for about two or three years. It’s a lot better investment than buying a game system the new games that always come out over and over again.
See A Trike In Action
One of our readers got their hands on a couple of the electric trikes that we talked about and we asked if they could send a short video clip of them using it. You can see they’re pretty cool. Thanks again!
