Used Electric Scooters For Sale

I don’t actually recommend buying used scooters. The best used electric scooters for sale are super hard to find. If you can’t fork out the $300 to $500 for a new one then I would just save up a bit or shop for discounts. BUT if you really want to get a used scooter, or if you kid is begging you for one and you don’t want them to spend the money here’s what I would do.

If you must get a used electric scooter… Try this:

First, check around with your friends. This is obvious but I wanted to remind you. You might ask your neighborhood friends and family. they probably have a used one or broken one. You can get someone to repair it and hand it over to your kids or keep it for yourself 🙂

Next, check ebay, and craigslist. Ebay has some good selections. The downside here is that you won’t be able to test it out before you actually buy. If you are familiar with what you want then you can go this route, but be warned you could get a dud.

Finally, get a side job and make a little more money to buy a new one, I know I’m tricky right. But yeah I can’t stress enough that I really recommend getting a new one.

Here’s a list of the top 4 Electric Scooters I recommend looking for  (new or used)

#1 Razor Accelerator

If you’re looking for a classic electric scooter then look no further. This is one of the first models created by razor when they transitioned from the children’s kick scooter market to the electric scooter market. This model can be found very cheap on amazon used and refurbished. If you’re looking to save while buying a scooter that was ahead of it’s own time when it was in it’s prime, this is the way to go. It’s important to note it doesn’t use a front braking system, it relies on a manual braking system by pushing on the mechanical small platform on the rear. Pushing down on this will apply heavy friction to the tires and bring you to a stop.

#2 Pulse Performance Lightwave

The Lightwave is one of the more colorful designs from Pulse Performance Products. This scooter falls somewhere right in the middle when it comes down to it’s functionality compared to the average highly rated scooter. It isn’t the fastest, nor is it the slowest. It doesn’t cost the least, but it doesn’t have an outrageous price tag either. It also uses 100% puncture proof Polyurethane. I don’t want to go too much into detail without spoiling everything about this scooter so go right ahead and check out the full review of the Pulse Performance Products Lightwave to get the full picture.

#3 Razor E90

The Razor E90 is an upgraded version of the Razer Accelerator. This options have a pallete of colors to choose from but it still has the rear brake system, without a front hand brake. For some kids that can be scary and might be a deal breaker for them so make sure the person you intend to buy this for knows this! It’s also the most affordable Razor electric scooter currently on the market. If you’re looking for the savings of a razor accelerator and the quality of a newer razor electric scooter, this is the right choice for you. Learn more about the Razor E90 today.

#4 Razor E325

Would you like to buy a brand full loaded car, only to find out it’s offering the same exact thing a previous model, while paying more money for absolutely nothing but the name? That’s what it feels like to buy the Razor E325. It hurts. Razor is such a great brand of electric scooters for kids but they have let everyone down with this model. Pay very close attention to it’s sister model the E300 and you will notice they offer the same exact specifications. Why would a company do something like this? It’s very unfair to the consumer to charge more money based on the name of a scooter. Read numerous customer reviews where they call out Razor on Amazon, or just read our review here.
